Problem: Juniper Mesa 2 - Screen Locks in Portrait View

Solution: This will occur with the new windows update (April 2018), and TFL upgrade to Version 4.5.

The Mesa needs to be reset (this will restore to factory settings, selecting to bring back the windows update to a previous version will not work).

To reset go to the settings, Update & Security, Recovery;

Under Reset This PC, click Get Started.

It will prompt you with a couple of windows, asking if you want to save your files (click yes) and it will notify you that some of the applications that have been loaded on the computer will not be restored during the reset. click Reset.
This could take a couple of hours

Once the computer reboots, lock the view in landscape you can lock within the settings location or the tool palete that pulls from the side

Now download and install Trimble Installation Manager.
Install the latest version of TFL (Note: if TFL MEP is an option, uncheck it to prevent the installation)
Once complete, restart the computer/tablet.

Disable Windows Updates
Type Services in the lower left hand corner of the field tablet and double click on the Services icon (Top Left) to launch program. To activate the keyboard please select the Touch Keyboard icon in the bottom right hand corner.
