Nomad: ActiveSync Connection Issues
Problem: Trimble Nomad will not connect to computer to connect to transfer files between computer and/or LM80 Desktop.
Solution:
Verify ActiveSync / Windows Mobile Device Center is
installed on client machine.
Launch ActiveSync with Nomad data collector via Start Menu and
Programs.
Launch Menu within ActiveSync program, click connections.
Make sure checkbox is checked.
Connect Nomad to client machine via USB cable. If unresolved, move onto
Step 6.
Unplug Nomad.
Click Start Menu and launch Settings.
Click Connections Tab and open USB to PC.
Check/Uncheck box depending on current setting.
Connect to PC and reestablish
connection.
