Trimble SPS986: TFL Crashes Setting Up


Problem: While setting up the sensor to the jobsite within Trimble FieldLink, the software crashes.

Solution: Trimble Field Link is missing some required installation files. Follow these steps to resolve:
  1. Uninstall Trimble Field Link
  2. Uninstall Trimble Product Activation
  3. Delete "Ghost File"
  4. Install Trimble Field Link v4.4 via Trimble Installation Manager
  5. Close Trimble Installation Manager and reopen. Install Trimble Field Link v5.5
